Cimmie Dhanda is a third-generation Indian multidisciplinary artist whose work embodies freedom and her cultural identity; intertwining Western fashion systems to South Asian voices. She explores various mediums including collage, model casting, photography, styling, and creative direction.

Cimmie’s work is concerned with themes around the South Asian diaspora where she focuses on narrating the roots and origins of her ancestors, the male gaze and amplifying underrepresented voices. In recent work, Cimmie aims to empower femininity and challenge the representation of beauty in the fashion industry.

Cimmie is now exploring issues within the fashion industry regarding race, sexism, body issues and gender. Striving for a fashion industry that celebrates diversity and non-globalised features.
